I love capturing those special moments at home. The ones that might seem like they are going to make you go crazy now, but that you’ll wish you could look back on in 10 years….
In May 2010, after a weekend of heavy rain Nashville had devastating flooding. Extreme Makeover Home Edition came to Nashville and rebuilt Lighthouse Christian School. The flooding had swept it up and it was seen floating down the highway. I was asked by GS&F the publicity company for LP Building Products that supplied all of the products for the Build to take photos on the day they framed the school. We really enjoyed getting to be apart of it!
During the Extreme Makeover Home Edition build, they had the school administrator be the family that they surprise. The Sweatt family spent a week on vacation here in Nashville seeing all of the sites around town and one of the things they got to do was go to the Titans first game of the season and I got to come along and take photos! We were on the field pregame and they had special seating for the game!
Beka… how do I describe her… full of attitude this girl has a great heart and I know one day soon she will be a drummer for a Christian Artist…She is very talented! So glad that she is one of my friends…we had way too much fun taking these photos!
What can be more fun to do than have a tea party in the woods? When I was talking to these three little girls mom about what to do for our photoshoot, she came up with the idea to have a tea party as that was one of their favorite things to do together. The girls had a great time and hardly even noticed that I was there taking photos of them!
